As college women and as members of Kappa Alpha Theta, scholarship is our highest aim. This holds true for Theta Nu as we begin our Theta story with women from diverse educational and experiential backgrounds.
Theta Nu strives to support its sisters scholastically from the moment they join. As new members are introduced to our chapter, they are paired with an older member with a similar major. This facilitates conversations from choosing professors and classes to exploring career paths. Additionally, we hold study hours for all members once a week, stocked with snacks.
We recognize members each semester for their scholastic success. Members who are awarded Faculty Honors are recognized individually for their semester and contributions to our chapter, as well as awarded with gifts of appreciation. Throughout the semester, members who score highly on individual exams and quizzes are celebrated with a "Smarties for Smarties" prize and chapter recognition.
Thetas reach every corner of the campus, with majors ranging from International Affairs to Physics. Members participate in study abroad experiences, experiential learning, and on-campus research, as well as a variety of professional and academic organizations.
