Kappa Alpha Theta

Theta Nu Chapter Georgia Institute of Technology

Welcome to Theta!

A note from Our President:

Welcome to the website of the Theta Nu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta here at Georgia Tech. My name is Hannah Orr, and I’ll be serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Theta Nu for the next year. I’m so excited for the next year, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have such an incredible Executive Committee and officers to help our chapter grow.

Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter Fraternity known among women. Our tag-line is Leading Women, and our chapter strives to live out this tag-line in all aspects of our college life, from academics to extracurricular activities to our local community. In addition, Theta Nu members are highly committed to developing strong friendships and sisterhood, both within our chapter and within the Georgia Tech Panhellenic community as a whole.

Theta Nu is so excited for the coming year; we’ll be hosting our first annual Capture the Kite Tournament in April to fundraise for our philanthropy, CASA, as well as hosting our first spring formal and participating in our first formal recruitment this fall.

We hope that you will Think Theta!
